Our passion is for finding natural beauty in a process where product life cycle lends opportunity for recycling or upcycling long after the initial purchase is made.
Social Accountability & Sustainability
S2DIO utilises production facilities in Indonesia with up to and exceeding 1000 direct and indirect employees at any given time making social accountability and corporate ethics both critical components of our core business. S2DIO is proud to be working closely with of a number of associations that actively promote ethical business practices and responsible forest management such as the Forest Stewardship Council®.
Our Facilities and People
At S2dio we have three main production facilities focusing on Hardwood, Recycled Teak, Aluminium, Artificial rattan and cushions. This gives us an enormous potential when it comes to flexibility in production and the mixing of materials which is very much on trend. We underpin our production strengths with a full product development team consisting of designers based out of Europe and Australia as well as technical teams in Indonesia. With that comes our fully equipped product development workshop and showrooms in Australia, Indonesia and Europe which allow many of our OEM and private label clients to co-develop exclusive collections.
Materials
Selecting the right materials in the best quality is very important when creating luxury outdoor furniture. S2DIO opts for choosing materials that are indigenous to the location of production as transporting materials worldwide has a negative effect on the environment and often fails to enrich surrounding local community. We use a range of materials ideally suited for outdoor use, each selected and carefully curated by our sourcing team.
